Three to face PM death plot charges

Three men have been charged with terror offencesThree men are due to appear in court charged over an alleged plot to assassinate the Prime Minister.

They were arrested at Manchester Airport and in Accrington, Lancashire, on August 14 and are due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court in central London.

Ethiopian national Binyam Mohamed, 30, who came to Britain in 1994 seeking asylum, was arrested in Pakistan in 2002 and has been held at the Guantanamo Bay detention facility in Cuba for the past four years.

A criminal investigation was launched after the names and addresses, bank account numbers and sort codes of people in the Charnwood Borough Council area of Leicestershire were reportedly found on its hard drive.
